The Problem
The customer needed a dedicated place to overwinter tender plants through the cooler months and to start seeds early in the season, ahead of the regular outdoor planting window. A 12x16 Gable Greenhouse with a clear poly roof and 14 non-insulated windows was ordered to provide a bright, protected growing space for exactly that purpose.

The customer found Eagle Ridge Barn Builders through Facebook, where they came across the company's greenhouse offerings before placing an order for this 12x16 Gable Greenhouse, delivered to their property in Canyon Lake, Texas.
Why They Chose Eagle Ridge
The customer chose Eagle Ridge Barn Builders because they preferred a design with actual windows rather than all-poly siding, and this build delivered on that with 14 2x3 non-insulated windows with white frames and grids surrounding the greenhouse, in addition to the clear poly gable roof.
The Build
This 12x16x6 Gable Greenhouse features a clear poly roof for maximum light transmission, paired with 14 2x3 non-insulated windows in white frames and grids lining the walls for extra visibility and ventilation. Board & Batten siding in Bronze SW 7048 is trimmed out with LP Smart Trim in Clay SW 9117. Two 3ft barn doors with 2x3 windows provide entry — one in Bronze SW 7048 with Clay SW 9117 accent, the other in Clay SW 9117 with matching accent — both finished with custom X-shaped trim per the customer's request. An exhaust fan with outlet helps with air circulation, and the interior is fitted with 34 linear feet of greenhouse shelving (two 11' shelves and one 12' shelf per the floor plan) for starting seeds and organizing plants. The building sits on 4 inches of blocking and was delivered 225 miles to the customer's site in Canyon Lake, Texas.
The Result
The greenhouse was just delivered and the customer has not yet had the chance to use it at the time of this writing, but it stands ready with its shelving, windows, and exhaust fan in place for the overwintering and seed-starting work it was built for.
