The Problem
Rick wanted to grow plants all year long but needed a way to keep them alive through the winter months. A standard garden setup wasn't enough to protect his plants from cold weather, so he needed a dedicated structure built to handle the seasonal swings in Rowlett, TX.

The Build
This 10x16x6 Gable Greenhouse was built with LP SmartSide siding in Clay SW 9117 and LP Smart Trim in Oyster White SW 7637. It features a clear poly roof for maximum light transmission, a 6ft double barn door with a 2x3 window (Clay panel with Oyster White accent), 13 white-framed 2x3 non-insulated windows, and a 23x10 transom window for additional natural light. The building also includes an exhaust fan with outlet, 34 sections of greenhouse shelving (two 12' shelves and one 10' shelf per the floor plan), a water faucet at the marked location, and 4 inches of blocking.
The Result
The greenhouse was just delivered at the time of this writing, but it's ready and prepared for cold weather, giving Rick the year-round growing space he needed to keep his plants alive through the winter in Rowlett, TX.
