A 14x34 cabin shell with a unique L-shaped porch combination was delivered to Rockport, TX, giving Eddie Arrisola a solid shell to finish out as an affordable tiny home.
The Problem
Eddie was looking for an affordable tiny home solution. Rather than paying for a fully finished structure, a 14x34x8 cabin shell gave him a sturdy, weathertight building he could finish out himself, keeping the overall cost down while still getting a quality-built structure delivered to his Rockport, Texas property.
How They Found Us
Eddie found Eagle Ridge Barn Builders through a Facebook advertisement. Seeing the cabin shell options online led him to reach out and work with sales person Dallas Kropf to configure a 14x34x8 cabin shell with board & batten siding, a sliding door, 9 lite door, multiple insulated windows, and a combination porch setup suited to his tiny home plans.
Why They Chose Eagle Ridge
Eddie chose Eagle Ridge Barn Builders because of the reviews. That reputation, combined with the Facebook ad that first introduced him to the company, gave him the confidence to place an order for a custom 14x34x8 cabin shell built to order and delivered to Rockport, Texas.

The Build
This 14x34x8 Cabin Shell was built with Board & Batten siding in Pure White SW 7005, LP Smart Trim also in Pure White SW 7005, and a 26 Gauge Galvalume metal roof. Door package includes a sliding door and a 9 lite door, with four 3x4 insulated windows and two 2x3 insulated windows, all in white frames and grids. The build features a full width 4' end deck and a 4ft cottage porch running the full length, which per internal notes combine to form an L-shaped porch — the result of blending the cabinette style end deck with the cottage style porch. Additionally he added the option of hurricane clips that tie the rafters ti the walls. 24 inches of blocking for the foundation setup.
The Result
As of this writing, Eddie has just received the building. He still has to finish out the interior to turn the 14x34 cabin shell into a complete tiny home, building on the solid shell, porch, windows, and doors already in place.
