The Process of Purchasing a Shed

At Eagle Ridge Barn Builders, we believe in making your purchasing experience as fast, easy and transparent as possible. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you understand the entire process before making a decision:

1. Initial Contact

  • Once you provide us with your information or save a design, a shed professional will reach out to you.
  • During this conversation, we’ll ask questions to understand your unique situation, budget, and needs. This ensures we recommend the perfect solution for you at the best price possible.

2. Quote and Information

  • After discussing your needs and answering all your questions, we’ll send all relevant information via email or text, including a detailed written quote.
  • The quote will include:
    • Discounts (if applicable)
    • Delivery fees (if any)
    • A clear breakdown of costs

3. Placing Your Order

  • If you decide to proceed, we’ll send you an agreement for signature.
  • A payment is usually required to secure your order.

4. Scheduling Delivery or Build

  • Within 1-3 business days of placing your order, our scheduling manager will contact you.
  • They will set a date for:
    • Delivery of your shed
    • A crew to come and build on-site, if applicable
  • Unless otherwise communicated (e.g., due to weather), the scheduled date will remain fixed and confirmed the day before.

5. Delivery and Setup

  • Delivery:
    • The scheduling manager or driver will inform you of the estimated time of arrival (ETA).
    • Someone must be present to indicate the exact location for the building.
    • Delivery typically takes 30 minutes to a few hours, depending on the size and complexity.
  • On-Site Build:
    • Build times range from 4 hours (smallest sheds) to several days (large cabin shells). Crew will show up in a truck and trailer with all the tools and materials to complete the build. All they need is to be able to park the truck and trailer near the site and walking access to take the materials and tools in. If you don't have power nearby, please let us know so we can take extra extension cords or generator.

6. Final Approval

  • After the delivery or build is complete, we will ask for your approval to ensure everything meets your expectations.

7. Final Payment and Enjoyment

  • If there is any remaining balance, we will reach out for payment.
  • Once complete, you’re ready to enjoy your shed or deck for years to come!
